Product Manager (Kitchen Hardware)

Position Overview
As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing a specific group or category of products. Your responsibilities will include analyzing industry trends, developing long-term strategies, managing vendor relationships, and maximizing consumer appeal through effective pricing, promotion, and product range management.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Analyze data and insights to identify industry and consumer trends related to architectural hardware, lighting, sanitary, and kitchen systems.
- Devise long-term development strategies for the assigned product categories.
- Develop exit strategies for underperforming products within the category.
Vendor Management:
- Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and ensure quality services.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
Product Range Management:
- Determine product positioning within the category.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns.
- Forecast product demand and ensure optimal inventory levels.
Sales and Profitability:
- Maximize consumer appeal through competitive pricing strategies.
- Implement effective promotional activities to drive sales.
- Monitor profitability and adjust strategies as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to execute category goals.
- Identify new business opportunities within the category and develop plans to capitalize on them.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management - preferably handling any of the following product lines: Kitchen Hardware, Architectural Hardware, lighting, kitchen systems, or appliance categories.
- Strong commercial mindset, experience in vendor management & stakeholder management
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and making informed decisions.
- Driven to increase sales and profitability for sustainable business growth.
